Piper & Paige - Our children's stories

Piper & Paige

Piper & Paige

Piper (4) & Paige (3) are beautiful, funny and charismatic little girls. They are loving, playful and bring lots of joy wherever they go.

Piper is a happy, friendly little girl who loves being around people. She likes making friends and having fun at nursery. She really enjoys playing outside, going on the swings and slide, riding her scooter, reading stories and baking. She especially loves dinosaurs and watching Peter Rabbit! Piper also enjoys playing with her sister.

Piper is getting really good at doing things for herself, like getting dressed and cleaning her teeth, and she feels proud when she learns something new. She has learnt and grown so much. Sometimes she needs a little extra help with finding her words and with things like using the toilet, but she is making good progress.

She can be very determined and, even when she finds something tricky at first, she can surprise you with what she can do when you give her time, patience and lots of encouragement.

Paige is a happy, smiley little girl who is becoming more confident every day. She can sometimes be a little quiet at first and wait for you to come and play with her, but once you do, she loves joining in and having fun. She enjoys playing with her sister, especially riding scooters and going to the park together. She loves building with bricks and blocks, visiting animals and watching things that make her laugh, especially Mr Bean! She also enjoys Baby Shark and Paw Patrol.

She likes going to nursery, where she enjoys being with other children and has made friends.

Paige is finding more words and becoming more “chatty”.  She likes having familiar routines because they help her know what is happening and make her feel safe and secure. She still needs some help with things like getting dressed, eating different foods, using her knife and fork and learning to use the toilet.

Since coming joining their foster family a year ago, the girls have responded very positively to having consistent care, predictable routines and a safe and nurturing home. They have made encouraging progress and are growing in confidence, communication and independence.

The girls are looking for a white British family to meet their identity needs or a family that can strongly promote their white identity. They are used to spending time with their foster carers extended family including young children so a family with existing children would be welcomed as would a family with no existing children but a strong support network of other young children for the girls to socialise with.

Children’s names have been changed and stock photos have been used to protect identity.
